How do I brew with a pour-over?Updated 7 days ago

Pour-over gives you a clean, bright cup. Here are our two tested recipes:

Flat-bottom dripper: 25g of coffee to 400g of water (1:16), water at 202°F, medium grind.
Cone dripper: 20g of coffee to 340g of water (1:17), water at 205°F, medium grind.

  1. Rinse your filter with hot water and discard the water.
  2. Add your coffee and bloom it with 60g of water (and swirl if you’re using a cone). Wait about 30 to 45 seconds.
  3. Pour the rest of the water in slow stages until you reach your total.
  4. Total brew time should be about 3 minutes for a flat-bottom and 3:30 to 4 minutes for a cone.
