Should I buy whole bean or ground?Updated 7 days ago

It comes down to how you brew and how much you value freshness:

  • Whole bean: stays fresher longer, because the beans protect the flavor until you’re ready to brew. If you have a grinder, grinding right before brewing gives you the best cup. It also gives you full control over the grind.
  • Ground: the most convenient choice, and a great option if you don’t own a grinder. Choose the grind that matches your brew method, and try to use it within a few weeks.

Not sure? Start with ground in the right grind for your brewer, and consider a grinder later if you want to take your coffee up a notch.
